Last week I had the privilege of participating in the International Summer School in Banking and Financial Markets Law, organized by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuoro in Milan, focussing on hot topics such as: algorithmic trading, fintech or sustainable finance.
During one week, exceptional speakers from the universities of Hong Kong, Zurich, Frankfurt and many others, as well as from the ECB, Blackrock and IBM gave inspiring lectures. Each day was punctuated by several presentations made by participants about their research work. I also had the challenging opportunity to present my master’s thesis on the PSD2 directive. These presentations provided an opportunity for enriching discussions between participants and teachers.
Beyond these scientific activities, I had the opportunity to forge many friendships with participants who sometimes came from far away (Canada, India, Switzerland and the EU).
Finally, all this took place in the idyllic setting of Villa Vigoni on the shores of Lake Como.
For all these reasons, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Pr. Antonella Sciarrone Alibrandi, Pr. Danny Busch, EDOARDO GROSSULE and AEDBF-EVBFR Belgium for allowing me to live this extraordinary experience.
